KEY ACCESS BOX PROGRAM

The Richmond Caroline Fire District utilizes EAS key boxes within many buildings in the fire district.  Property owners store entrance keys, access cards and floor plans in high-security boxes mounted near the building entrances. Each key access box is keyed to a proprietery key controlled by the Richmond Carolina Fire District. With the EAS System, there is no waiting for a property owner to unlock the door in the middle of the night and no forcing the door open to gain entry. The EAS access system reduces response time, property damage and the liability for lost keys. This is important to fire service response as well as emergency medical reponse.
