| Barber has been nominated and reappointed as District Chief for another term. Chief Barber's leadership abilities have also earned him the appointment as President of the Rhode Island Southern League of Firefighters. With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Chief Barber has established himself as a respected mentor and counselor, guiding dozens of firefighters who have gone on to achieve success in fire and police organizations across Rhode Island.
