🎨 What Do the Colored Flags Mean?

Utility companies use standardized color codes to mark what’s below ground:

πŸ”΄ Red – Electric power lines
🟑 Yellow – Gas, oil, steam, petroleum
🟠 Orange – Communication lines (internet, cable, phone)
πŸ”΅ Blue – Drinking water
🟒 Green – Sewer and drain lines
🟣 Purple – Reclaimed water, irrigation
🩷 Pink – Temporary survey markings
βšͺ White – Proposed excavation area (your planned dig site)
